Do you accept custom orders?

Have you ever done a *insert idea* design/colorway before?
Everything we make is customizable, so even if we haven’t made an *insert idea* design/colorway before, we can definitely create something for you. Contact us at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com and we can discuss all of the details necessary to make it happen.

Can I send you an item I already own for you to dye?
Yes, we are always open to the idea of reworking or upcycling your items! Contact us at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com and we can discuss all of the details necessary to make it happen.

Oh no my favorite shirt is *ruined* from bleach / grease / other misc. mystery stains – can you “fix” it if I send it to you?
YES, PLEASE DO! We’ve all been there – cleaning the house in our favorite tee, thinking it’s okay, I’ll be *careful*, only to discover you weren’t as careful as you thought and now your favorite shirt of all time has been ruined by bleach; or you come home from a mini-vacay to discover your bottle of sunscreen exploded in your bag and your favorite tank is ruined by sunscreen grease. DO NOT THROW IT AWAY! Send it to us and we will gladly work our magic to cover or hide the flaws and breathe new life into it! What brand threads do you use?
We use a variety of brands including AS Colour, Bella + Canvas, Comfort Colors, LA Apparel, Lane Seven, and MADE. Alternative brand options are available upon request, just send us an email at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com to let us know what you’re looking for and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do your threads fit?
All of our threads come standard unisex fit and are true to size. Be sure to check out the sizing guides for each brand which are located at the bottom of our website as well as in our story highlights on Instagram.

Do you offer extended sizes or youth sizes?
YES! We pride ourselves on being inclusive and size inclusivity is of utmost importance. Our website only allows a set number of variants (sizes and styles) within each product listing and so there is absolutely no way for us to list ALL of the available options. We do offer extended sizes as well as the option to put any of our designs/colorways on either an infant, toddler, or youth sized item – all you have to do is send us an email at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com to let us know what you’re looking for and we will make it happen.

When will my order ship?
Everything is custom made to order which means we keep limited stock on hand. All items have a 10-20 business day processing time, meaning that your order will be dropped in the mail no later than four weeks from the order date. We strive to get all orders out to you as quickly as possible, this just gives us a little extra time if needed. If you need rush processing, please contact us at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com and we will see what we can do. Please note that the listed processing time does NOT include the time it takes for UPS/USPS to ship and deliver your order.

How does my order ship?
All orders ship from Vancouver, WA via either UPS or USPS. Once packages are dropped off with UPS/USPS, we have no control over how long the delivery will take.

Will I be notified when my order ships?
Yes! You will receive an email (or text; depending on the option you selected at checkout) when your order is shipped with tracking information.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! If your place of delivery does not appear when you are trying to checkout, please contact us at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com so we can fix that for you.

Do you have any ready to ship items?
We sometimes end up with extras and/or one offs of either samples, testers, or oopsies which we offer as ready to ship items via our Instagram stories.

How do returns and exchanges work?
All items are individually custom made to order by hand by us and are each uniquely one of a kind, therefore due to the customized nature of our products, all sales are final and we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. This includes the ordering of wrong sizes, so please double and triple check your cart before placing your order! We strongly encourage you to check out our size guides before deciding which size is best for you. With that being said; if you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us at info@wherethreadsgotodye.com within 14 days from your delivery date with a photo of your damaged or defective item(s) along with a description of the issue(s). We will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis. Please note that these items MUST be unwashed, unused and unworn.
